Decking & Flooring
Wood-plastic composites (WPCs) is a green energy saving & environmental protection product which is extruded from the mixture of recycled wood fiber and plastic (PE).
WPC offers the natural wood grain, color, texture & possesses the advantages of a higher polymer materials, waterproof, fireproof, mothproof, anti-UV, acid & alkali resistance, wear resistance, paint-free molding & recyclable.
WPC has the advantages of anti-aging, no corrosion, no cracks, no deformation, no waste, maintenance-free, big bearing capacity, longevity & so on.
WPC has an exquisite appearance, easy to install, simple maintenance, time saving & labor saving, high efficiency & satisfy the various needs of a customer.
WPC is widely used in Villas, Terrace, Outdoors, Swimming pools, Restaurant & hotels, Walkways, Corridors, Flower shelves, Gardens & many more. The most widespread use of WPCs in North America is in outdoor deck floors.
WPCs do not corrode & are highly resistant to rot, decay & Marine Borer attack, though they do absorb water into the wood fibers embedded within the material. They have good workability & can be shaped using conventional woodworking tools.
One advantage over wood is the ability of the material to be molded to meet almost any desired shape. A WPC member can be bent and fixed to form strong arching curves. Another major selling point of these materials is their lack of need for paint. They are manufactured in a variety of colors.
Despite up to 70 percent cellulose content (although 50/50 is more common), the mechanical behavior of WPCs is most similar to neat polymers.
